Ernie Ball Music ManBFR Majesty 7 John Petrucci Signature 7-String Electric Guitar - Blonde Roast

Bringing Ball Family Reserve craftsmanship to John Petrucci's extended-range platform, the Ernie Ball Music Man BFR Majesty 7 combines premium figured tonewoods, limited-edition finishes and advanced electronics in a performance-focused seven-string electric guitar. Its sculpted neck-through design pairs alder body wings with figured maple tops, while a three-piece Honduran mahogany and figured maple neck provides stability, sustain and upper-register access. A cream-bound ebony fingerboard with a 17" radius and 24 stainless steel frets supports precise, fluid playability across all seven strings. DiMarzio Dream Catcher and Rainmaker humbuckers deliver powerful, articulate electric tone, complemented by Fishman Powerbridge piezo saddles, a custom active preamp and a +20dB gain boost for expansive tonal versatility. A floating tremolo, Ratio locking tuners and flexible switching system complete the design. Available in Blonde Roast and Chocolate Grizzle, each limited to 30 seven-string instruments, the BFR Majesty 7 includes a tremolo cover signed by John Petrucci and a numbered certificate of authenticity. Premium Figured Maple Tops Showcase Ball Family Reserve Craftsmanship The BFR Majesty 7 builds on Music Man's neck-through solidbody platform, pairing alder wings with carefully selected maple tops that give each limited edition its own visual identity. Blonde Roast features a figured flamed maple top, highlighting the natural depth and movement of the wood beneath its high-gloss finish. Chocolate Grizzle takes a more dramatic approach with a richly textured maple burl top, offering intricate figuring and an individual appearance. Both variations feature sculpted body contours and balanced proportions designed for playing comfort, while the neck-through construction provides a continuous foundation for sustain and resonance. Together, these premium materials and detailed finishing appointments reflect the craftsmanship of the Ball Family Reserve collection. Neck-Through Construction Delivers Precision Across All Seven Strings The Majesty 7's three-piece neck-through construction combines Honduran mahogany with figured maple for a stable, resonant foundation that supports easy upper-fret access. Blonde Roast features a flamed maple center section, while Chocolate Grizzle incorporates roasted flamed maple. Both share a slim C-shaped profile, 25.5" scale and 1-7/8" nut width, providing spacing for the additional low string while maintaining the familiar feel of Petrucci's signature design. A cream-bound ebony fingerboard with a 17" radius and 24 stainless steel frets offers a responsive playing surface for articulate extended-range rhythms and fluid lead work. Atlante Majesty inlays and glow-in-the-dark side dots combine distinctive visual detail with practical stage visibility. DiMarzio Humbuckers and Piezo Electronics Expand Tonal Possibilities The BFR Majesty 7 pairs DiMarzio Dream Catcher and Rainmaker humbuckers with an onboard electronics system designed to accommodate John Petrucci's demanding tonal requirements. The Dream Catcher bridge pickup delivers powerful output, articulate attack and focused definition that keeps extended-range rhythms clear and controlled, while the Rainmaker neck humbucker provides a smooth, responsive voice with rich harmonic detail. Fishman Powerbridge piezo saddles introduce acoustic-inspired textures, allowing players to move between magnetic and piezo sounds or combine them for additional depth. A custom Music Man active preamp includes a push/push volume control with +20dB gain boost, a push/push tone control for alternate pickup configurations and dedicated piezo volume. Separate three-way selectors manage magnetic pickup combinations and magnetic/piezo operation, while selectable mono or stereo output provides flexible signal routing for performance and recording setups. Premium Hardware and Limited-Edition Appointments Complete the Majesty 7 Each BFR Majesty 7 features a custom John Petrucci Music Man floating tremolo with hardened-steel construction and integrated Fishman Powerbridge piezo saddles, providing expressive pitch control alongside acoustic-electric versatility. Ratio locking tuners offer precise adjustment and dependable tuning performance, while custom rubber-grip control knobs support confident operation. Blonde Roast features chrome hardware and Majesty chrome pickup covers, complemented by a matching flamed maple headstock cap. Chocolate Grizzle pairs a matte black tremolo with black Majesty pickup covers featuring gold pole pieces, creating a contrast against its figured maple burl top. Both variations feature cream-bound ebony fingerboards with Atlante Majesty inlays. A John Petrucci-signed tremolo cover, numbered certificate of authenticity and included Mono softshell case complete each limited-edition instrument.
