The Korena take
Finished in Wychwood Green, the Electromatic CVT Double-Cut brings together a gloss mahogany body, bolt-on okoume neck, and laurel fingerboard. The double-cut profile makes higher frets more accessible when a part moves beyond chord work. Two Twin Six humbuckers offer clean chime as well as fuller driven tones; use the three-way toggle to call up either pickup or both. Master volume and tone controls make changes quick, while the adjustable wrap-around tailpiece keeps the hardware arrangement focused and allows intonation adjustment.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Switching from clean, chiming passages to thicker overdriven parts during a set.
- Playing lead lines that use the higher fret area of the double-cut body.
- Keeping pickup and tone changes simple through master controls and a three-way toggle.
