Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
KORG’s handytraxx play is a right-handed portable record player organized around hands-on scratch performance and live manipulation. Its crossfader channels can be swapped for reverse scratch operation, while three filter types and a built-in delay provide additional processing. The onboard looper records up to about 20 seconds, so a recorded passage can continue while you layer scratches, capture a sound, or change records. A belt-driven motor with digital rotation correction handles platter motion, and power is available from the included AC adapter or six AA batteries.
