Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Martin’s 000-12E Retro Road Series pairs a 000-14 fret body with solid spruce and solid sapele construction for a balanced acoustic voice with warm mids and articulate highs. Scalloped spruce X-bracing is described as adding resonance and response, giving the guitar room for strumming, fingerstyle, and flatpicking. The Performing Artist neck, high-performance taper, and ebony fingerboard provide a modern playing surface, while Martin E1 electronics, phase control, and a built-in tuner make amplified adjustments straightforward between songs. A softshell case is included for transport.
