MartinD-X1E Special Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar - White

Crafted entirely from high-pressure laminate in a striking all-white finish accented by gold hardware, this X Series instrument delivers traditional dreadnought power with exceptional resistance to climate and temperature shifts. Scalloped spruce X-bracing enhances resonance and responsiveness, while a birch laminate Performing Artist profile neck and Richlite fingerboard provide a smooth, comfortable playing feel across the full 25.4" scale. Martin E1 electronics add convenient amplified versatility with discreet soundhole-mounted controls and an integrated tuner. Finished with faux mother-of-pearl Style 28 dot inlays, a pad-printed herringbone rosette and matching white headplate, the D-X1E White Special puts a distinctly contemporary spin on the classic Martin dreadnought. Dreadnought Body and Scalloped X-Bracing for Powerful Response The D-X1E White Special is built around Martin's classic 14-fret dreadnought shape, giving it the broad projection, strong low-end presence and authoritative strumming response associated with the design. Scalloped 5/16" spruce X-bracing allows the top to respond freely across a wide dynamic range, helping chords open up with resonance while preserving definition under a heavier attack. White HPL construction across the top, back and sides adds durability and consistency in changing environments, making the guitar well suited to regular transport and everyday use. Together, the full-size dreadnought proportions and traditional bracing pattern provide a powerful acoustic foundation beneath the model's distinctly modern presentation. Performing Artist Birch Laminate Neck for Familiar Martin Playability A birch laminate neck gives the D-X1E White Special a stable, dependable feel, while Martin's Performing Artist profile and High Performance Taper create a streamlined shape that remains comfortable from open-position chords through higher-register playing. The full 25.4" scale provides familiar string tension and response, paired with a 1.75" white Corian nut for comfortable spacing across the strings. A Richlite fingerboard with a 16" radius and 20 frets offers a smooth playing surface for rhythm work, fingerstyle passages and single-note lines alike. Faux mother-of-pearl Style 28 dot inlays provide clear position reference while complementing the guitar's clean, understated visual treatment. Martin E1 Electronics for Natural Amplified Performance Martin E1 electronics give the D-X1E White Special an easy path from unplugged playing to rehearsal, performance and recording setups. Discreet soundhole-mounted controls provide direct access to volume and tone adjustments without interrupting the guitar's clean exterior, while the built-in tuner makes quick tune-ups possible without an additional pedal or clip-on device. The streamlined system keeps operation simple and preserves the familiar feel of an acoustic instrument, adding practical plugged-in flexibility for players who need to move comfortably between acoustic and amplified environments. All-White Finish and Gold Hardware for Distinctive Modern Style The D-X1E White Special carries its contemporary identity through a cohesive set of appointments built around its all-white construction. Gold enclosed-gear tuners provide a striking contrast against the matching white HPL headplate, while Martin's Script Ink logo keeps the headstock clean and recognizable. A pad-printed herringbone rosette adds a subtle nod to traditional Martin styling, complemented by a white Corian nut, compensated white TUSQ saddle and white Boltaron heelcap. The absence of a pickguard further emphasizes the streamlined monochromatic look, while a Richlite modern belly bridge and included softshell case add practical finishing touches to this distinctive X Series model. A Bold X Series Dreadnought Built for Everyday Playing Bold enough to stand apart yet practical enough for everyday playing, the Martin D-X1E White Special offers a fresh take on the Martin acoustic for players who want their instrument to make a visual statement without sacrificing dependability. Its durable construction is well suited to regular practice, rehearsals, travel and performance, while comfortable playability and straightforward onboard electronics make it an inviting choice for musicians at virtually any level.
