EpiphoneProphecy SG Electric Guitar - Obsidian Storm Satin

Epiphone's classic guitar designs take a bold new direction in the redesigned Prophecy series, combining fast-playing necks, performance-focused construction and custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups for modern players. The Epiphone Prophecy SG electric guitar combines a mahogany body, a maple cap and figured flame maple veneer with a thermally aged maple neck, ebony fingerboard and 25.5" scale. Custom-voiced Fishman Fluence humbuckers offer modern active, vintage-inspired and single-coil-style voices, while 24 stainless steel frets, a 10"-14" compound radius and a LockTone Modern bridge and string-through-body design complete the performance-focused setup. For guitarists moving between heavy rhythm parts and upper-register leads, the Prophecy SG combines double-cutaway access with modern pickup flexibility. Classic SG Shape With a Modern Maple Top The Prophecy SG carries the familiar double-cutaway SG design into the Modern Collection with a mahogany body, maple cap and figured flame maple veneer beneath a satin finish. Its SG Modern body shape keeps upper-fret access central to the design, while the glued-in neck retains a traditional construction approach. The combination preserves the SG's familiar proportions while introducing the materials and understated styling of the redesigned Prophecy series. Three Fishman Fluence Voices for Musical Flexibility Custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups, developed for the Prophecy series, supply three distinct tonal characters: modern high-output active humbucker, vintage PAF-inspired humbucker and clear single-coil-style sounds. Push/pull master volume and tone controls provide access to the available voices, while a three-way toggle selects the pickup combination. This range gives the guitar useful options for high-gain riffs, articulate clean parts and layered recording. Thermally Aged Maple Neck and Compound-Radius Ebony A satin-finished, thermally aged one-piece maple neck features graphite rod reinforcement and a streamlined HyperGlide profile for fluid fretting. The 25.5" scale supports a firmer string feel for lower tunings, while the HyperGlide neck profile keeps fretting comfortable and fluid. A bound ebony fingerboard with a 10"-14" compound radius and 24 stainless steel frets provides a smooth playing surface for chord work and upper-register runs. Modern Hardware and Distinctive Prophecy Appointments A LockTone Modern bridge, string-through-body tailpiece and locking Grover Rotomatic tuners provide a dependable foundation for tuning and sustain. Black hardware and knurled control knobs complete the modern appearance. Black mother-of-pearl block inlays and a bound headstock with Custom split-diamond detailing add a refined visual finish. A Versatile Guitar Ready for the Stage The Prophecy SG combines the reach of its double-cutaway body with a fast-playing neck and three selectable Fluence voices. From driving rhythm work to upper-register leads, its modern hardware and responsive playing surface suit guitarists who move between heavier styles and cleaner passages. A Protector Ultralite case is included for transport and storage. Put the Epiphone Prophecy SG electric guitar to work in a versatile stage or studio setup.
