The Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty electric guitar represents John Petrucci’s uncompromising vision for a modern instrument that blends speed, comfort and versatility into a single striking design. Updated for 2025 with new Dark Side and Gold Eclipse finishes, the Majesty continues to push boundaries with its neck-thru-body construction, slim-profile mahogany neck and smooth ebony fingerboard. Every detail—from the DiMarzio Dream Catcher and Rainmaker pickups to the unique piezo-equipped tremolo bridge—has been engineered to deliver Petrucci’s signature balance of power and nuance. With glow-in-the-dark side dots, stainless steel frets and advanced switching options, the Majesty offers the precision and flexibility demanded by today’s most ambitious players. Neck-Thru Construction for Fluid Playability and Exceptional Sustain At the core of the Majesty is its neck-thru-body design, providing unmatched sustain, resonance and effortless upper-fret access. The slim C-shaped Honduran mahogany neck flows seamlessly into the basswood body, creating a lightweight yet solid platform for both stage and studio performance. An ebony fingerboard tops the build, offering fast response and smooth feel across all 24 stainless-steel frets. With a 25.5" scale length and 17" radius, the Majesty caters to modern technical playing while remaining comfortable for chord work and extended sessions. Glow-in-the-dark side dots and Atlante Majesty inlays ensure easy navigation under any lighting conditions. Signature DiMarzio Pickups Deliver Petrucci’s Distinctive Voice The Majesty comes loaded with John Petrucci’s custom-voiced DiMarzio Dream Catcher and Rainmaker humbuckers. These pickups are tuned for articulate high-gain aggression, soaring lead tones and expressive cleans that never lose detail. The Dream Catcher in the bridge offers punch and precision for rhythm work, while the Rainmaker in the neck delivers warmth and nuance for melodic passages. Together, they capture the full range of Petrucci’s demanding sound, making the Majesty equally at home in progressive metal, fusion or beyond. Coil-splitting via the push/push tone knob unlocks single-coil sparkle, further expanding its tonal palette. Piezo-Equipped Tremolo and Advanced Electronics Equipped with a custom floating John Petrucci tremolo bridge featuring Fishman Powerbridge piezo saddles, the Majesty adds authentic acoustic-style tones to its arsenal. Players can blend or isolate piezo and magnetic voices, with mono and stereo outputs offering flexible routing for stage or studio. A push/push volume knob provides up to 20dB of adjustable gain boost, perfect for cutting through dense mixes. The onboard Music Man active preamp maintains clarity and headroom, ensuring that every note projects with authority whether clean, boosted or drenched in overdrive. Stage-Ready Hardware and Player-Focused Details Every component of the Majesty is designed with professional performance in mind. Schaller M6-IND locking tuners deliver rock-solid tuning stability under heavy tremolo use, while the matte black hardened steel tremolo bridge ensures smooth action and long-term durability. Custom JP control knobs with rubber grips make quick adjustments easy on stage. Finished in sleek high-gloss polyester and accented with black hardware, the Majesty looks as bold as it sounds. Each guitar ships with a Mono softshell case, providing lightweight protection and portability for working musicians.
