Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Cherry Les Paul Special Double-Cut puts two P-90 soapbar pickups into a solid mahogany, double-cutaway body. Its SlimTaper mahogany neck, bound rosewood fingerboard, and 22 medium-jumbo frets provide a consistent platform for chord work, bends, and higher-register parts; the double cut gives access farther up the neck. Separate volume and tone controls for each pickup let you shape their levels independently, and the wraparound bridge keeps the layout focused.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Players who need separate volume and tone control for each of two P-90 pickups.
- Rehearsal or stage parts that move between chord work and notes higher on the neck.
- Right-handed players seeking a six-string, double-cutaway solidbody in Cherry.
