Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The 20-inch Byzance Foundry Reserve Light Ride balances a dry, articulate stick entrance with a complex dark wash. Hand-hammering develops its low fundamental pitch and rich character, and the fully lathed surface brings a brighter attack with lush undertones behind it. It retains enough body for defined ride work, opens into strong crash sounds, and responds easily when played with mallets.
Strong match
