PRSCustom 24 Birds of a Feather Limited-Edition Electric Guitar - Blood Red

A masterclass in visual elegance and sonic versatility, the PRS Custom 24 Birds of a Feather limited-edition electric guitar elevates the axe that started it all for PRS into an elite, highly collectible statement piece. Limited to just 360 instruments worldwide in 2026, this exquisite solidbody showcases an artist-grade figured maple top dressed in high-gloss nitro alongside PRS's legendary Birds of a Feather fingerboard inlay—a striking ebony-and-figured maple motif previously reserved exclusively for the Private Stock program. Beneath its extraordinary aesthetics, the Custom 24 retains the wide-open tonal character and effortless playability that have made it a modern classic. The figured maple top is paired with a solid mahogany body for exceptional resonance and clarity, while dynamic DMO pickups deliver outstanding balance, vocal response and remarkable versatility through a five-way blade switch. Completing the design, a Pattern Thin mahogany neck, PRS's patented Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners combine to create a fast, inspiring playing experience with pro-grade tuning stability and expressive performance. Birds of a Feather Inlay Showcases Rare Private Stock Artistry Created by PRS Director of Manufacturing and Private Stock lead Paul Miles, the Birds of a Feather fingerboard inlay makes its long-awaited production debut after years as one of the Private Stock program's most celebrated design elements. Crafted from ebony and figured maple, the intricate inlay reimagines PRS's iconic bird motif through flowing shapes, contrasting woods and carefully balanced negative space, creating the impression of birds taking flight across the fretboard. Paired with the Pattern Thin mahogany neck, it transforms every playing experience into a visual showcase while retaining the fast, effortless feel that has become synonymous with the Custom 24. Artist-Grade Tonewoods for Resonance and Visual Depth The Custom 24's renowned voice begins with an artist-grade figured maple top paired with a solid mahogany body, a timeless combination that delivers rich resonance, clarity and sustain. The violin carve enhances both comfort and visual depth, allowing the maple's dramatic figuring to take center stage beneath the high-gloss nitro finish. The result is a lively, articulate acoustic foundation that perfectly complements the guitar's dynamic electronics and expressive playing feel. DMO Pickups for Exceptional Clarity and Expansive Versatility A pair of PRS DMO ("Dynamic, Musical, Open") pickups provide exceptional balance, clarity and vocal character across the entire frequency spectrum. Controlled by a five-way blade switch, they deliver everything from powerful, articulate humbucking tones to expressive single-coil-inspired voices, making the Custom 24 equally at home with pristine cleans, edge-of-breakup textures and high-gain lead work. The result is exceptional tonal flexibility, allowing the instrument to adapt easily across a wide range of musical styles and performance environments. PRS Gen III Hardware for Inspiring Performance PRS's patented Gen III tremolo combines smooth feel with rock-solid tuning stability, allowing expressive vibrato without compromising intonation. Lightweight Phase III locking tuners further enhance resonance while making string changes fast and dependable, completing a hardware package designed to perform at the highest level. From the studio to the stage, every detail reflects PRS's commitment to precision engineering and uncompromising playability. A Rare Expression of a Historic PRS Guitar Limited to just 360 instruments worldwide in 2026, the PRS Custom 24 Birds of a Feather limited-edition electric guitar celebrates the guitar that established PRS as one of the world's premier electric guitar builders through one of its most extraordinary artistic expressions.
