PRSSE A20E Angelus Acoustic-Electric Guitar - Black Top

Warm acoustic tone, comfortable upper-fret access and dependable plugged-in performance make the PRS SE A20E Angelus acoustic-electric guitar a strong everyday choice for players who move between songwriting, rehearsal and the stage. Its Angelus Cutaway body pairs a solid mahogany top with mahogany back and sides, PRS hybrid "X"/Classical bracing and a 25.3" scale length to produce a warm, balanced voice with the projection and nuance needed for picking, fingerstyle playing and vocal accompaniment. PRS-voiced Fishman Presys VT electronics, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, PRS-designed tuners and an included gig bag complete a versatile acoustic-electric guitar with unmistakable PRS character. Angelus Cutaway Comfort for Modern Acoustic Players The Angelus Cutaway body is one of PRS's most versatile acoustic shapes, offering a comfortable playing feel with easier access to upper frets. That makes the SE A20E well suited for players who move beyond first-position rhythm work, whether they're adding melodic lines, capo-based arrangements or fingerstyle passages higher on the neck. Its body depth and cutaway design strike an ideal balance between projection, comfort and playability. All-Mahogany Warmth and Open Projection All-mahogany construction gives the SE A20E a warm, balanced acoustic voice with strong midrange presence and a naturally rounded top end. The solid mahogany top responds with a woody character that suits vocal accompaniment, roots-inspired playing and intimate acoustic arrangements. PRS hybrid "X"/Classical bracing helps the top vibrate freely, supporting volume, balance and detail while maintaining a smooth, musical response. PRS-Voiced Fishman Electronics for Plugged-In Control The PRS-voiced Fishman Presys VT pickup system gives the SE A20E Angelus a natural amplified voice for rehearsals, recording and live performance. Its undersaddle pickup captures articulation and definition, while soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls keep adjustments close at hand without disrupting the guitar's clean acoustic appearance. This streamlined system makes it easy to move from unplugged practice to amplified performance while preserving the instrument's natural acoustic character. Wide Fat Neck and Ebony Playing Surface The mahogany neck uses PRS's Wide Fat profile, giving the SE A20E a substantial feel that works well for steady rhythm playing and controlled fingerstyle movement. An ebony fingerboard, 20 frets, 11.81" radius and 1.69" bone nut create a smooth, stable playing platform. PRS bird inlays and the familiar headstock design connect the guitar visually to the broader PRS lineup. Clean Appointments and Gig-Ready Details Cream binding, a herringbone and cream rosette, PRS-designed tuners, an ebony bridge and bone saddle give the SE A20E a clean, refined appearance without unnecessary ornamentation. The included gig bag makes it easy to take the guitar to lessons, rehearsals and performances. For players seeking a warm all-mahogany acoustic-electric with comfortable upper-fret access and stage-ready electronics, the PRS SE A20E Angelus acoustic-electric guitar delivers dependable performance wherever inspiration strikes.
